Fun Diving In Koh Tao
Koh Tao Offers More Than 25 Dive Sites To Explore
Dive sites in Koh Tao are perfectly suited for all levels of divers considering depth, clarity of water & calmness of dive environment.
Conditions on Koh Tao are many times perfect with mild currents to almost no currents, flat waters, awesome visibility and water temperatures of around 26 to 30 degrees.
When fun diving with Koh Tao Scuba Club we never mix different levels of scuba divers or qualifications, so open water divers dive with open water divers and advanced with advanced, etc, etc.
This makes the fun dives fair for all level divers so there aren’t any limitations on depths allowed.
A qualification of a shipwreck diver would of course also not dive with anyone else who won’t be able to dive at the shipwreck either, for example.
Dive groups are limited to 4 per dive guide, when we go fun diving we meet up at the shop 30 - 45 minutes before to pack our equipment and then head out together with your guide.
All fun divers have pick up and drop off available at their service from all over the island and all fun divers have lunch, snacks, refreshments, fresh fruits and coffee included.
Lunch is available after morning dives and before afternoon dives. If by any reason you would like to save your meal after the afternoon dives, just notify us and we’ll arrange for your food to be prepared for later.
In Koh Tao we are blessed with a huge amount of dive sites, more than 25 of them to be more specific!
These dive sites have a great variety of marine life and unique points of interest on each site. In Koh Tao there is everything from shallow sites, deep sites, colorful coral reefs, turtles, whalesharks, an amazingly rich variety of fishes, nudibranchs and much much more!
When diving with Koh Tao Scuba Club, our dive schedule works like this:
Morning dives are deeper dives, afternoon dives are shallower dive sites.
We never repeat 2 sites in a row, you'll be able to dive a for a long time and always enjoy a new site & an even newer adventure.
Morning dives: 07:00 - 11:30 (2 dives)
Afternoon dives: 12:30 - 17:00 (2 dives)
Night dive: 18:30 - 20:30 (1 dive)
One of the many questions we get frequently is of course: What are your favorite dive sites?!
HTMS Sattakut Shipwreck
Whether you are a new diver or a professional diver coming to fun dive, we have something for every level! Each dive site is close by to the island, the furthest one being 45 minutes (Chumphon & Southwest Pinnacle) and the closest ones being as close as 15 minutes (White Rock, 3 Rocks, Junkyard) making it easy to enjoy your fun dives without having to spend full days on a boat.
Fun diving with our divemasters provides you with a further more enjoyable experience as our professional divers know the dive sites of Koh Tao better than they know Koh Tao on land, haha!
But I think, most importantly, that considering we are a Scuba Club, we don't really like to stay out of the water for too long or ever at all for that!
Meaning we are open and dive up to 5 times per day, 365 days of the year and you are of course more than welcome to join us whenever you wish!
