Introducing our All Inclusive Open Water program
There is no dive experience necessary to start the Open Water.
This program of 3 days includes 4 hours theory, 1 pool session, 4 dives, 1 final exam
We’ll help you learn quickly, and safely, and have tons of fun while doing it.
At the end of the 3 days, you will get certified SSI Open Water Diver, giving you the ability to dive all around the world at a maximum depth of 18m.
If you are already a certified Diver, we invite you to take the Advanced Adventurer Program,
which includes 5 speciality dive: 10% off for Koh Tao Scuba Club Alumnis
During the morning of the day 1 and the day 2, we will be holding theory sessions to explain the fascinating aspects of diving.
It will provide you a critical component to become a proficient diver. It covers essential topics such as signals, dive planning, underwater navigation, safety protocols, and the physics and physiology of diving.
During the first dive, we will do exercises in our pool to feel comfortable and safe underwater.
During the 4 open water dives, you will discover the breathtaking Koh tao's dive sites including vibrant coral reefs, stunning underwater rock formations, and a diverse range of marine life.
The last day of the course will be the most enjoyable one, not only will you have the opportunity to put your newly acquired knowledge into practice during 2 dives, but you will also take a final test to evaluate your proficiency in the material covered during the course.
After which you will be finally a certified diver, for the rest of your life =)
Our Open Water Schedule
Day 1:
09:00 - 16:00
09:00 - Pick up if desired from your accommodation
09:30 - Meet your instructor and fellow students, start theory in the classroom
11:15 - Lunch break
12:15 - Pool session, training basic scuba diving skills and exercises to slowly but surely getting you to know the basics
16:00 - Back to school / Drop off at your accommodation
Day 2:
09:00 - 17:00
09:00 - Pick up if desired from your accommodation
09:30 - Meet your instructor, start theory in the classroom
11:15 - Lunch break
13:30 - Dive #1 in the ocean, Focusing on skills, techniques and exercises
15:30 - Break between dives, refreshments, fresh fruits available on the boat
16:00 - Dive #2 in the ocean, No training, no exercises, dive with your instructor and have fun!
17:00 - Back to school / Drop off at your accommodation
Day 3:
07:00 - 13:00
06:30 - Pick up if desired from your accommodation
07:00 - Departure from pier
07:45 - Dive #1
09:00 - Break between dives, refreshments, fresh fruits available on the boat
10:00 - Dive #2
11:00 - Back to school / Lunch
11:45 - Logging dives + exam
13:00 - Drop off at accommodation

Frequently Asked Questions
I can't swim, can I dive ?
Actually, scuba diving and swimming are two very different things. You do need to have a basic level of comfortability in the water but to actually dive we use very different techniques and basically have a safety vest, while breathing underwater! The important thing is to be able to be calm and comfortable underwater while following your instructor.
Which days are diving programs available?
All diving activities and courses are available to start daily.
How many dives is in the Open Water Program ?
4 dives + 1 pool dive.
The Pool dive is for exercises, skills and teaching you the basics of scuba diving in shallow waters.
The others dive is on a separate dives site, you would be training, exercising, but also having fun!
How deep will we go ?
The maximum depth for the Open water program is 18 meters deep.
Where will we dive?
Each day we visit different dive sites and we never dive at the same site twice. Chat with us to know about the dive sites of your date.
