Definitely one of the most popular dive sites for all divers on Koh Tao, the pinnacle being a large granite with the top sitting at around 14 meters below the surface
Here you'll find schools of fish, anemones swimming around the pinnacle while hiding from other fish, giant groupers, schools of batfish, moray eels, barracudas and much, much more!
And yes, you guessed it:
Chumphon Pinnacle is one of the most dive sites around Koh Tao which the whale shark is most frequently sighted!
So, even though the trip over there might take over 30 minutes: this trip is well worth it!
